David Balicki is a French photographer
living and working in Paris.
He is a graduate from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles.
He has been working ever since as a portrait and documentary photographer,
and has done commissions for various magazines and newspapers such as :
Les Inrockuptibles, Le Monde, L'Obs, Next, Aden, L'Express, Têtu, Elle, Glamour, Le Parisien Magazine, Libération ...
His portrait work has been exhibited at the Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie in Arles in 2005 and 2019
and he's been regularly running workshops at the Arles Photo Festival from 2004 to 2014.
David is currently teaching "Photojournalism / Documentary photography" and "Lighting techniques" at Spéos international school of photography in Paris
and taught "Contemporary Issues", "Sophomore seminar" and "Social documentary" at Paris College of Arts in Paris from 2017 to 2019.
